As such, all operational matters, investment dealings, management and marketing of products will be overseen by the Shariah Advisory Council to ensure that good governance and obligation to all participants are met.

Board of Directors

Abdikadir Hussein

Director

Hon. Abdikadir holds a Bachelor of Law Degree from the University of Nairobi and a Master of Law degree from Harvard University, specializing in Corporate and Islamic Finance. Mr. Mohamed is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya and a Certified Public Secretary. He is a founding Partner of Ahmednasir, Abdikadir and Company Advocates. He was a legal advisor to the president of the Republic of Kenya. He is currently a Partner at Abdikadir and Associates Advocates which is a full service law firm specializing in Environmental Law, Insurance Law, Banking & Finance Law, Corporate & Company Law, Conveyancing & Real Estate Law, Intellectual Property Law and Commercial Law

Adan Daud

Director

Mr. Daud is a seasoned advocate of the High Court of Kenya. He is also a Certified Anti Money Laundering Specialist and a licensed Arbitrator by Minnesota Supreme Court. He advised financial institutions on compliance with Bank Secrecy Act, FATF recommendations on Anti Money Laundering and parastatals on procurement and disposal Act. He served as the Chairman of National Social Security Fund and is a member of Law Society of Kenya. He holds a Bachelor of Education (Economics and Business Studies) – Kenyatta University, Masters of Arts in International Development Studies (Canada) and Juris Doctor (Minnesota, USA) and Postgraduate Diploma, Kenya School of Law.

Hassan Bashir Ibrahim, DBA

Director

Dr. Bashir has held key Executive positions over the last 20 years in the Insurance and technology sectors in the East Africa Region. He has also been involved in higher education and has taught at the United States International University (USIU) Chandaria School of Business, in Nairobi, Kenya since the year 2001. He is a past Chairman and member of the Board of Directors of the Association of Kenya Insurers (AKI).

Hussein Ali

Director

Mr. Hussein Ali Salad holds a Masters in Science degree in Governance and Development Management from the University of Birmingham, England and another MBA in Strategic Management from United States International University - Africa. He has trained in Public Sector reforms and Staff Development as well as Problem Solving and Conflict Resolution. He has an International Diploma for Humanitarian Assistance from the Royal College of Surgeons Dublin, Ireland.
